BIOGRAPHY
Steven recently joined Davidson & Williams as an Associate lawyer. Steven has a wide range of preferred practice areas with a focus on employment and civil litigation, real estate, and wills and estates.
He obtained his law degree from the University of Calgary. Before law school Steven received a Bachelor of Commerce, with a Major in Economics and Law from the University of Alberta. Steven's prior work experience included the development of governance systems, financial and physical risk control evaluations, and internal audits.
During law school Steven was a research assistant with several law professors at the University of Calgary. There he assisted in writing academic papers on a wide range of subjects including bankruptcy law, freedom of expression issues, Canada Energy Regulator legislation, international funds, and regulation of digital securities. He also assisted in the creation of a free textbook on constitutional law.
Being involved in the community and giving back is important to Steven. Last year Steven assisted in Pro Bono Student Canada’s low-income senior will project.
Steven was born and raised in Olds, Alberta and grew up on a farm growing wheat, barley, and canola. He is new to Lethbridge, and he hopes to continue volunteering and getting involved in community projects.
