BIOGRAPHY
Rupak lived, worked, and studied in India, England, Northern Ireland, and Canada, providing him with a diverse range of global perspectives and knowledge of cross-cultural dynamics. Before his legal studies, Rupak acquired experience in management consulting, international marketing, and regulatory compliance.
Rupak joins our firm as an articling student having completing his JD degree at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), UK. Rupak also had the opportunity to study at the Faculty of Law, University of Alberta (U of A) as part of obtaining his law degree at QUB. While studying at the U of A, Rupak volunteered for Student Legal Services and worked as a research assistant.
Rupak is interested in corporate & commercial, civil litigation and dispute resolution, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, and international trade law.
Rupak currently volunteers for Alberta Lawyers’ ASSIST and the Canadian Bar Association (in various roles).
Rupak enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and swimming, as well as pursuing hobbies including rifle shooting, and constructing Lego structures.
