BIOGRAPHY
Murray was raised in Lethbridge and received his post-secondary education at the Universities of Lethbridge and Calgary, before completing his LL.B. at the University of Alberta. He received his Queen's Counsel designation in 2016.
In 1984, Murray returned to Lethbridge to join his father, Fred Pritchard, Q.C., in his long established practice of law. Shortly after his father's death, Murray went into partnership with Bruce Milne and they have practiced together for over 30 years before merging with Davidson & Williams LLP.
Community and international service work have been a significant part of Murray's life. This has enabled him to enjoy leadership roles as Chairperson of the City of Lethbridge Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, Chairperson of Castle Mountain Resort Inc., President of the Kinsmen Club of Lethbridge and President of the Rotary Club of Lethbridge. He also is passionate about his role as a director of Uphill Both Ways Education & Relief Foundation and their work in Nepal.
He remains an active skier, water skier, mountain biker and climber.
